Rajendra Memorial Women's College, Nawada has been established in 1978 in the memory of the Bharat Ratna Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first president of India. The College is situated in the heart of the district at the distance of ½ km. from Nawada collectorate and 1 km. from Bus Stand /Railway Station. District town is situated in south Bihar, by side of Sakri River and Khuri River. The town is densely populated and neighbouring cities are Hisua, Rajauli, Kawakol. The college is located between two UNESCO heritage sites i.e; the Mahabodhi Temple Complex and the Ancient Ruins of Nalanda University.
